3. Parabens – These are so common in skin care products it isn’t even funny. Methyl, propyl, ethyl, and butyl are common names and variations. Studies say that it may cause cancer, disrupt your body’s endocrine system, and it can also cause allergic reactions and other skin problems.

4. Fragrance – You might think that a nice smell can never be harmful, but that is where you are wrong, and I thought this too. You see, the word “Fragrance” can mean up to 4,000 different ingredients, which of many are considered highly toxic, or even carcinogenic. These fragrances can cause depression, irritability, and affect your central nervous system.
